Now that we’ve moved threads around, it’s time to officially announce the news on this blog.

We have split up the former Health & Nutrition forum into two distinct forums:

Cat Health Forum

Cat Nutrition Forum

What’s more, in light of members’ requests, we now have a special new sub-forum under the nutrition forum:

Raw Feeding for cats Forum

With the US elections approaching, our current events forum – IMO – is heating up. While it is definitely not the focus of our cat forums, it’s interesting to watch cat lovers debate over the latest political news. The economy, foreign policy, and other matters too – all debated with the passion that only us animal lovers can feel. Granted, this forum is NOT for everyone. In fact, unless you’re an established member of at least one month, with at least 100 posts under your wing, you can’t participate in discussions. You can always have fun reading them though.

And as we always say about IMO – if you can’t stand the heat… go visit the cat care forums

Ok, we’re not selling anything, but it is for a limited time so…

We are proud to have certified cat behavior consultant Marilyn Krieger with us again for another special cat expert forum on TheCatSite.com forums!

This time the focus is on multi-cat households and the unique behavioral challenges they pose. The topic was requested by many forum members, so here’s your chance to ask Marilyn for professional advice:

Just a quick note with our own news bulletin for today -

Skippymjp has joined the TCS moderators team on the forums.

He has actually joined the team last week, but today he was assigned to the cat behavior and IMO forums, so now it’s all official!

Our special “Litter Box Advice” forum with guest expert Marilyn Krieger is over, after an entire week during which Marilyn kindly shared her advice with TheCatSite.com members!

No fewer than 42 threads about various litter box problems have been posted on the forum, with topics covering different types of litter, problems of multi-cat households, litter box location and many more!

Why a Blog on TheCatSite.com?

Well, I love blogging. I have several other blogs and I’ve been toying with the idea of blogging about cats for a while now. I have a lot to talk about when it comes to cats, and I have news and updates related to my websites that I’d like to share here as well. I’d love to share pretty cat pictures that I get from surfers on both sites too, and a blog would be a wonderful new avenue for that. So, here goes, let’s get this blog rolling!
