Introducing a beautiful princess today, and despite her name she is not green. Please give a warm welcome to her Royal Highness Princess Fiona Apple:

Fiona is a gorgeous petite diluted calico Persian. According to her owner, Nancy, “she is the apple of our hearts and home she has brought such love, laughter, personality n no hold barred attitude with her tree brothers Grady, Oliver, n nemo.”

Taking a quick look at the front page of the blog just now, I realized we’ve had a lot of text over the past two days and no cat pictures! Time to fix that, I do believe, with a new Cat in the Spotlight!

Wow, just look at those green eyes on this pretty calico! I love this picture, with the unique pattern showing so nicely on her soft fur – makes me want to reach out and touch that white patch on her neck there… You don’t have to groom Milla to get her to groom you back either, according to her owner, forum member Ryn -

Milla is truly a personality. She loves to be the center of attention and goofing around, but she also has a mind of her own. Her favorite hobby is grooming people’s hair. In many ways she’s the eternal kitten of the family.
