New Article – The Ocicat and an Oci in the Spotlight

August 10th, 2008 by Anne Moss

These cats are gorgeous spotted tabbies, which surprisingly have Siamese and Abyssinian cats in their genetic makeup! The result is a magnificent breed of cat, with a unique look and temperament.

Ocicat breeder and breed expert, Nola Kim of Oz Catz cattery in Australia, has provided us with a fascinating Ocicat breed description for our cat breeds section, along with some pictures of her Ocicats. Thank you, Nola!

And what better time to celebrate one of the resident Ocicats of TheCatSite.com’s community?

Anastasia is a gorgeous golden-eyes, tawny Ocicat princess, sharing her pampered life in two other Ocicats and forum member missymotus downunder in Australia. You can read more about her in her cat page, and visit her two team mates, Farley, the chocolate Ocicat and Demetrius, the silver chocolate spotted Ocicat.
